With the accelerated pace of global digital TV transformation, China has also realized a large-scale "digital TV transformation" in the past two years. Most people bid farewell to the analog era and welcome the arrival of the digital era.
     What is digital TV?
Digital TV provides satellite TV transmission and digital TV program services by using digital communication means, so as to bring users a digital TV channel service integrating high-quality image quality and characteristic service content.
The digital TV programs output by the set-top box no longer have the interference signals such as "snowflake" and "twill" often seen in analog TV programs. The TV picture is particularly clear and realistic, and the TV picture quality reaches 500 lines. Ordinary analog TV does not solve the problem of "good-looking TV", but the digital TV output from set-top box fundamentally solves this problem. Digital TV makes the selection of TV programs wider and more colorful. It can independently select channels and change programs according to users' different tastes and needs at any time.
Ordinary TV is transmitted through analog signal, and watching TV is "passive", while digital TV transmitted by set-top box adopts full digital encryption and transmission technology. Only authorized users can actively watch all kinds of newer, faster and high-quality TV programs.
Obviously, the emergence of digital TV has changed the characteristics of one-way service in the traditional sense, that is, from "what to watch" to "what to choose", and greatly improved the picture quality. However, due to the vast territory of China, TV stations in various provinces, cities and regions have their own program modes, and the overall conversion in various regions adopts the policy of adjusting measures to local conditions to achieve localized services for customers. Therefore, the conversion equipment (mainly digital TV set-top boxes, remote controls, etc.) in various regions are inconsistent and authentic.
As a remote controller manufacturer, we found a problem. As an electronic consumer product and consumable, the remote controller cannot reach the same service life as TV and digital set-top box, so the localized after-sales service of the remote controller is very important. Imagine that if your remote controller is broken and you can't buy a suitable remote controller everywhere, will you tolerate operating the machine directly? Or you need to pay a very high price to buy a remote control with extremely complex operation. Would you like to? These have seriously affected our daily life. In today's highly developed material world, everyone has an unprecedented consensus on the concept of service, and after-sales is particularly important.
But why is there such an obvious after-sales service vacuum? Why has such a large after-sales service market been neglected so far? There are two reasons. First, the wrong starting point of the government's implementation of "one hammer deal". In order to grasp political achievements and projects, the government hastily carried out overall transformation in a large area, but did not carry out active research and hearing, did not pay real attention to potential after-sales service problems, and there are serious loopholes. Second, due to the difference of TV programs in various regions, the digital TV set-top box remote controls in each region are also very different, which eventually makes the manufacturers timid about the overall after-sales service market in the country (only willing to carry out large-scale conversion). For the subsequent after-sales service market, it is not considered because of the problems of quantity, time and object, Therefore, this is a typical weakening of government intervention on the liberalization of market economy.
How can we achieve barrier free after-sales service? Can it circulate across regions like the mobile phone market? Can the remote control DIY? We'll discuss it in the next section
