The bidding investment is more than 1.3 billion yuan, and the remaining 2.1 billion yuan will be gradually completed in the second and third phases of the "village to village" project in 2009 and 2010.
Industry insiders pointed out that the national government expressly stipulates that during the Eleventh Five Year Plan period, 22 million users across the country should popularize satellite live broadcasting satellites. The first phase of the live Star TV "village to village" project will benefit 22 provinces and municipalities directly under the central government, such as Shaanxi, Shanxi, Yunnan and Sichuan.
"As radio and television involves relevant safety issues, the procurement of live satellite equipment is basically for local manufacturers." People familiar with the matter said that China's live star market has just opened, which is undoubtedly very good for domestic set-top box manufacturers who fail to export overseas.
In fact, at present, the state is introducing various policies to stimulate the domestic demand market, such as home appliances to the countryside, etc., but home appliances dominated by televisions must be equipped with set-top boxes. Therefore, the set-top box market, especially the live star set-top box market, will be full of business opportunities in the past two years.
Taking this bidding as an example, if the average price is 356 yuan, Coship electronics alone will increase its sales by more than 170 million yuan.
